DESCRIPTION: It is the intent of the State of Minnesota, Department of Military Affairs, to receive sealed responses, subject to availability of Federal funds, during the month of May 2008, for the Construction of an Armed Forces Reserve Center, Faribault, Minnesota.
The proposed Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC) encompasses approximately 66,000 square feet which includes administration areas, classrooms / distance learning classroom, assembly hall, commercial kitchen; toilet, shower and locker areas; supply and unit storage areas with arms vaults; military vehicle maintenance shop; facility maintenance spaces to include mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, and fire sprinkler equipment rooms. The estimated cost is $17,200,000.
The project will be constructed on a triangular shaped site comprising of approximately 30 acres in the southwest quadrant of the intersection of I-35 and Minnesota State Highway 21 near Faribault, Minnesota. The Faribault city airport is adjacent to the north side of the site; agricultural land is west of the site and a residential development borders the south side of the site.
The facility will be constructed on concrete footings with masonry foundations, concrete floors, masonry walls with a decorative panel system, steel roof framing system and covered with a fully adhered EPDM membrane.
Exterior supporting facilities include all utilities, access drive; hard surfaced privately owned vehicle (POV) and military parking;anti-terrorism force protection requirements; security lighting and fencing , concrete walks, entrance bridge, facility sign, flagpoles, storm drainage / retention ponds and landscaping.

Full-Charge Bookkeeper to be directly responsible for daily bookkeeping operations and generating financial reports. Individual will report to General Manager and CPA, supervises office staff, and works directly with sales staff, production staff, customers and vendors on a daily basis.
